Why does my KTM Motorcycle have high oil consumption?

Several factors can cause high oil consumption in your KTM Motorcycle. It could be due to a bent engine vent hose, which you should inspect and replace if necessary. An excessively high engine oil level is another potential cause, so verify and correct the oil level. Using engine oil that's too thin (low viscosity) can also lead to this issue; in this case, change the engine oil and filter, and clean the oil screen. Lastly, worn piston or cylinder can contribute to high oil consumption, so you may need to measure the piston/cylinder mounting clearance.
