Why is my KTM Motorcycle engine overheating?
- Cclayton16Jul 29, 2025
If your KTM Motorcycle engine overheats, several factors could be responsible. It might be due to insufficient coolant, so you should check the cooling system for leaks and the coolant level. Insufficient airflow can also cause overheating, so switch off the engine when standing. Dirty radiator fins can be another cause, so ensure you clean them. Other potential issues include foam formation in the cooling system (in this case, drain and refill the coolant), a damaged cylinder head or cylinder head gasket (check these components), a bent radiator hose (replace it), or an incorrect ignition point due to a loose stator (adjust the ignition).
