Why is my Kubota KX033-4 Excavators having starting difficulties?
    • J
      Jordan PittsAug 16, 2025
Your Kubota Excavators may be having starting difficulties due to several reasons. The pilot control lock lever might be in the "UNLOCK" position, in which case you should bring it to the "LOCKED" position. Alternatively, the fuel could be too viscous, requiring you to check the fuel tank and filter for impurities and water, and replace the filter if necessary. Another possibility is air or water in the fuel system; remove any water from the fuel tank and check the fuel pipe joint bolts and nuts for looseness. If the oil viscosity is too high, especially in winter, pour hot water over the radiator. Finally, a nearly dead battery or insufficient compression could be the cause, requiring you to recharge the battery.

What to do if Kubota KX033-4 water temperature is in red zone (Overheating)?
    • D
      davidreynoldsAug 22, 2025
If your Kubota Excavators is overheating, several issues could be the cause. It could be due to a defective water pump seal, which needs replacement. A worn or torn V-belt should be adjusted or replaced. A defective thermostat also requires replacement. Low coolant level needs to be addressed by filling to the prescribed level. Clogged radiator grill or fins should be cleaned. Coolant contaminated with rust requires replacement and the addition of anti-rust. A defective radiator cap should be replaced. Corroded coolant pipes should be cleaned. Finally, continuous operation under full load requires a reduction in load.

Why is the boom, arm, bucket, drive, swing and dozer power too low on my Kubota KX033-4?
    • S
      svargasAug 28, 2025
If the boom, arm, bucket, drive, swing, and dozer power is too low on your Kubota Excavators, it could be due to a low hydraulic oil level, requiring you to add oil. Another possibility is leakages in the hoses and/or joints, which would necessitate replacing the hose or joint.

Why is my Kubota KX033-4 overheating and the water temperature is in the red zone?
    • E
      Eric JonesAug 31, 2025
If your Kubota Excavators is overheating, with the water temperature in the red zone, several factors could be responsible. A damaged cylinder head gasket causing coolant loss requires replacement. Low engine oil level needs to be corrected by filling to the prescribed level. Maladjustment of fuel injection requires readjustment of ignition timing. Finally, the use of poor fuel necessitates switching to the prescribed fuel.

Why does my Kubota Excavators have abnormal exhaust gas color?
    • T
      thomasadamsSep 4, 2025
Abnormal exhaust gas color in your Kubota Excavators may be due to poor fuel quality, so use high quality fuel. It could also be caused by too much engine oil; in that case, drain the engine oil to the prescribed level.
  • K
    Kerry SmithSep 6, 2025
Why is there a deviation of drive direction in my Kubota KX033-4 Excavators?
    • J
      James FrederickSep 6, 2025
If your Kubota Excavators is experiencing a deviation in drive direction, it could be due to stones blocking the tracks, which need to be removed. Alternatively, the track may be too loose or too tight, requiring adjustment accordingly.
