Why is my Kubota LX2620 engine difficult to start?

  There could be several reasons why your Kubota Tractor engine is hard to start. It could be due to no fuel flow, so check the fuel tank and fuel filter, replacing the filter if needed. Another reason could be air or water in the fuel system; ensure all hose clamps are tight and repair or replace any damaged fuel lines, then bleed the fuel system. In winter, increased oil viscosity can slow the engine; use different viscosity oils depending on the temperature or use an engine block heater. Lastly, a weak battery can prevent the engine from turning over quickly enough; clean the battery cables and terminals, charge the battery, and in cold weather, remove the battery, charge it, and store it indoors until use.

  If your Kubota Tractor engine overheats, it might be due to several reasons. First, the engine could be overloaded, so shift to a lower gear or reduce the load. Also, check if the coolant level is low and fill the cooling system to the correct level, inspecting the radiator and hoses for leaks. A loose or damaged fan belt can also cause overheating, so adjust or replace it. Make sure the radiator core or grille screens are free from trash. Finally, the coolant flow route could be corroded, so flush the cooling system.

  Colored exhaust fumes from your Kubota Tractor can be attributed to a few factors. It could be due to poor fuel quality, so change the fuel and fuel filter. Too much oil can also cause this, so drain excess oil if needed. A clogged air cleaner is another potential cause, so clean or replace the element. Also, if the inside of the exhaust muffler is damp with fuel, heat the muffler by applying load to the engine. Check the injection nozzle and replace the fuel and fuel filter if the fuel quality is poor.
