      If your Kubota Lawn Mower engine is difficult to start or won't start, several factors could be at play. Ensure you're sitting on the operator's seat and that the parking brake is correctly applied. Verify that the PTO switch is in the "DISENGAGED" (OFF) position and the motion control levers are in the "NEUTRAL LOCK" position. Also, confirm the key switch is in the "ON" position. Check your fuel level and replace the fuel and fuel filter if the fuel is old or of poor quality. For water or dirt in the fuel system, replace the fuel and consult your Kubota dealer. Clean or replace fuel lines if they are clogged or damaged, or visit your Kubota dealer. A clogged air filter or a defective spark plug can also prevent starting; clean or replace these as needed.
