Name declaration for a FNL with TMG Setup
Normally the PC application communicates with the FNL with its IP
address via a TCP/IP connection. A problem could occur, if the TIP-
address has to be changed for any reason
With the help of the TMG Net Series-interface the FNL can be
approach with its symbolic name. This name has to be set with the
application TMG Setup. It is possible to set any name with TMG
Setup. The application saves the chosen name in the Windows
registry. Therefore you have to set this name only once.
If the IP-Address has changed, you have to search the FNL in the
Network Configurator and set the changed IP-Address in TMG
Setup:
Choose „Start → Programme → TMG Net Series → TMG
Setup“There will be shown an overview of the configured FNLs. If
you never configured a FNL, the list will be empty.
