Connecting to a Computer
To connect the Forte to a computer/tablet, simply connect the Forte using the provided cable
or a compatible one.
If you wish to use your own cable, make sure that it is a Type-A-to-Type-B USB cable (the USB
port of Forte being Type B). By default, the Forte will act as a MIDI controller (rather than a
hard drive) when connected to a computer.
NOTE : Some devices like the iPad® will require you to purchase
adaptors to connect a USB cable.
