Shields
Replacing
the
I/O
Board
Install
the
10
Phillips
head
screws
that
secure
the
I/O
Board
to
the
rear
panel.
Remember,
this
includes
the
screw
securing
the
"T"
shaped
strain
relief
used
to
protect
the
AC
adaptor
cable.
Reconnect
the
cables
to
following
locations
on
the
I/O
Board:
J302,
J318,
J301
and
J306.
All
connectors
are
keyed
and
Pin
1
is
noted
on
the
board.*
*Pin
1
is
not
noted
on
the
board
at
J302,
however
the
connector
cannot
be
installed
backwards.
Removing
the
Control
Panel/Switch
Board
To
remove
the
Control
Panel/Switch
Board,
it
is
necessary
to
first
remove
the
1/O
Board.
The
following
instructions
assume
that
the
you
have
removed
the
I/O
Board.
Remove
the
Phillips
head
screws
that
secure
EMI
Shields
No.
2
and
No.
3.
Refer
to
Figure
3.2.
Remove
the
shields.
Clip
the
tie
wraps
used
to
bundle
the
cables
together.
Disconnect
the
stranded
wire
cable
at
location
J15
(Backlite)
on
the
Engine
Board*
and
fold
it
back
towards
the
Control
Panel/Switch
Board.
Disconnect
the
flat
ribbon
cable
at
location
J7
(LCD)
on
the
Engine
Board*
and
fold
it
back
towards
the
Control
Panel/Switch
Board.
The
cable
is
secured
with
clear
adhesive
tape
or
a
clip,
simply
pull
the
tape
back
or
remove
the
clip
and
disconnect
the
cable.
