7.7 Electric step
The opening and closing of the electric step can be
actuated by means of a switch (a) on the inside of the
vehicle, in the living quarters door area.
7.7.1 In case of malfunction
In case of malfunction, with the step blocked in open
position, proceed as follows to manually move the
step to its closing position, then contact one of Laika
authorised workshops.
1) Insert a screwdriver or other suitable tool inside of
the hole (b) located under the step and push until
the step unlocks.
2) Manually push the step to its closure position.
• Do not overload the lines with additional
electric appliances.
• Do not leave the engine turned on when either
the engine battery or the auxiliary battery
terminals are disconnected (danger of short
circuit).

To guarantee safety, a buzzer alert that the step is
open when the vehicle is started.
NOTE
Do not go up or down the step while it is moving.
WARNING
Always proceed with care when climbing up and
out: the step may be slippery.
