AVVERTENZE DI SICUREZZA - SAFETY INSTRUCTION - CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ
SICHERHEITSHINWEISE - ADVERTENCIAS DE SEGURIDAD - УКАЗАНИЯ ПО БЕЗОПАСНОСТИ
ing, when applicable, FLAMMABLE REFRIGERANTS. In addion, a set of calibrated weighing scales
shall be available and in good working order. Hoses shall be complete with leak-free disconnect
couplings and in good condion. Before using the recovery machine, check that it is in sasfactory
working order, has been properly maintained and that any associated electrical components are
sealed to prevent ignion in the event of a refrigerant release. Consult manufacturer if in doubt.
The recovered refrigerant shall be returned to the refrigerant supplier in the correct recovery cyl-
inder, and the relevant waste transfer note arranged. Do not mix refrigerants in recovery units and
especially not in cylinders.
If compressors or compressor oils are to be removed, ensure that they have been evacuated to
an acceptable level to make certain that FLAMMABLE REFRIGERANT does not remain within the
lubricant. The evacuaon process shall be carried out prior to returning the compressor to the
suppliers. Only electric heang to the compressor body shall be employed to accelerate this pro-
cess. When oil is drained from a system, it shall be carried out safely.
RESIDUAL RISKS
The correct design of the equipment and the installaon of adequate protecve devices do not completely
eliminate the risks for the operator. This manual contains the list of personal protecve equipment (PPE)
that the employee must use. Sucient space is provided during the installaon phases of the equipment to
limit the risks. To maintain these condions, the areas surrounding the equipment must be kept clean, dry,
well-lit and free from obstacles. Below is a list of the residual risks that remain on the machine.
RESIDUAL RISK DESCRIPTION
Slipping or falling
The operator can slip due to the presence of water, oil or dirt on the oor.
Burns or
abrasion
The user intenonally or unintenonally touches some of the components
inside the equipment (e.g. cold trays, ns and cooling circuit tubes) without
using protecve gloves.
Electrocuon
Contact with live electrical parts during maintenance operaons carried out
without disconnecng the power supply
Falling
The operator intervenes on the equipment using unsuitable systems to access
the upper part.
Injuries
Specialist personnel may not properly secure the upper control console. The
laer could detach and fall o.
Overturning
While moving the equipment and packaging using liing and/or handling
systems that are unsuitable or with the load unbalanced
Refrigerant gas
Inhalaon of refrigerant gas. The pe of refrigerant is shown on the
equipment technical specicaons plate
EMERGENCY SITUATIONS
CAUTION
In the event of re, do not use water, keep CO
2
(carbon dioxide) exnguishers to
hand and cool the motor compartment as quickly as possible.
IN CASE OF EQUIPMENT MALFUNCTIONING...
CAUTION
If the equipment does not work or you noce funconal or structural changes,
disconnect it from all the mains supplies and contact a service centre authorised
by the manufacturer, without aempng to repair it yourself.
CAUTION
Be sure to use original spare parts. The manufacturer declines any responsibili for
the use of non-original spare parts.
To ensure that the equipment is maintained in perfect condions for use and safe, we recommend
that a service and inspecon be carried out by an authorised service centre at least once a year.
