Why is my Lambda Power Supply overheating?
    • C
      Crystal SmithAug 7, 2025
Overheating in your Lambda Power Supply can occur due to a couple of reasons: First, ensure that your load connections are very tight, especially on high current units. Second, the fan(s) may be defective, so check the fan(s).

What to do if Lambda EMS 600-1.6 Power Supply circuit breaker trips?
    • D
      Duane BrayAug 12, 2025
If the circuit breaker trips on your Lambda Power Supply, it could be due to a few potential issues. First, check the input diode bridge(s) (CR1, CR2, CR3) for shorts. Next, verify the transistors on the A200 Bd. for shorts. Finally, inspect the output diode bridge(s) for shorts.

How to fix low or no output voltage or output current on Lambda EMS 600-1.6?
    • M
      Matthew SantanaAug 17, 2025
If you're experiencing low or no output voltage or current from your Lambda Power Supply, there are several things to investigate: * Check the input voltage. * If the A100 Bd is the cause, check for voltage at the cathode of CR15 with respect to pin 7 of TB1/J1. If it is low (less than 4V), check if any of the following diodes are turned on: CR12 (remote turn on), CR13A (undervoltage), CR14 (thermostat), CR16 (OVP), and CR17 (soft start). * Also check if the fuse is blown.

What to do if Lambda Power Supply output goes high?
    • D
      Daniel ZamoraAug 22, 2025
If the output of your Lambda Power Supply goes high, activating the OVP, and the voltage or current isn't adjustable, it might be due to disconnected links on TB1/J1. Reconnect the links on TB1/J1. Alternatively, the voltage or current control could be disconnected or defective, so check the voltage or current control.

Why does my Lambda EMS 600-1.6 Power Supply oscillate or have high ripple?
    • R
      Rebecca HallAug 27, 2025
If your Lambda Power Supply is oscillating or has high ripple, there are a couple of potential causes. One possibility is that the output capacitor(s) are defective, so check the output capacitor(s). Another possibility is that the feedback channel is unstable, so check the feedback channel.

What to do if Lambda Power Supply has low output voltage and OVP LED is glowing?
    • K
      Kenneth Johnson MDSep 1, 2025
If your Lambda Power Supply has low or no output voltage and the OVP LED is glowing, it could be because the OVP Adjust is rotated counterclockwise. Try adjusting the OVP.
