Function Description:

The Lamona HJA7050 is a microwave oven designed for domestic use, featuring both microwave and grill cooking capabilities. It allows for various cooking modes, including standard microwave cooking with adjustable power levels, grill cooking, combination cooking (microwave and grill), quick start functions, defrosting by weight or time, auto reheat, and a selection of auto menus for common food items. The oven also includes a clock setting and a child lock function for safety.

Usage Features:

  • Clock Setting:

    • When electrified, the LED displays "0:00".
    • Press "Clock/Pre-Set", then use the dial to adjust hour figures (0-23).
    • Press "Clock/Pre-Set" again, then use the dial to adjust minute figures (0-59).
    • Press "Clock/Pre-Set" to finish. If not set, the oven will not function.
  • Microwave Cooking:

    • Press "Microwave" to display "P100".
    • Press "Microwave" repeatedly or turn the dial to select desired power (P100, P80, P50, P30, P10).
    • Press "Start/+30Sec./Confirm" to confirm power.
    • Turn the dial to set cooking time (0:05 to 95:00).
    • Press "Start/+30Sec./Confirm" again to start.
    • Time adjustment increments: 0-1 min (5 seconds), 1-5 min (10 seconds), 5-10 min (30 seconds), 10-30 min (1 minute), 30-95 min (5 minutes).
  • Grill or Combi. Cooking:

    • Press "Grill/Combi." once to display "G".
    • Press "Grill/Combi." repeatedly or turn the dial to choose desired mode (G for 100% grill, C-1 for 55% microwave/45% grill, C-2 for 36% microwave/64% grill).
    • Press "Start/+30Sec./Confirm" to confirm mode.
    • Turn the dial to set cooking time (0:05 to 95:00).
    • Press "Start/+30Sec./Confirm" again to start.
    • During grill cooking, the oven sounds twice at half the grill time to prompt turning food over for better grilling effect.
  • Quick Start:

    • In waiting state, press "Start/+30Sec./Confirm" to start cooking at 100% power, adding 30 seconds with each press (up to 95 minutes).
    • In cooking or defrost state, "Start/+30Sec./Confirm" adds 30 seconds.
    • In waiting state, turn the dial anti-clockwise to set cooking time at 100% microwave power, then press "Start/+30Sec./Confirm" to start.
  • Defrost By Weight:

    • Press "W.T./Time Defrost" once to display "dEF1".
    • Turn the dial to select food weight (100 to 2000 g).
    • Press "Start/+30Sec./Confirm" to start defrosting.
  • Defrost By Time:

    • Press "W.T./Time Defrost" twice to display "dEF2".
    • Turn the dial to select defrost time.
    • Press "Start/+30Sec./Confirm" to start defrosting.
  • Auto Reheat:

    • Press "Auto Reheat" once to display "200".
    • Press "Auto Reheat" repeatedly or turn the dial to choose food weight (200g, 400g, 600g).
    • Press "Start/+30Sec./Confirm" to start reheating.
  • Auto Menu:

    • Turn the dial right to choose a menu (A-1 to A-8: pizza, potato, meat, vegetable, fish, pasta, soup, porridge).
    • Press "Start/+30Sec./Confirm" to confirm.
    • Turn the dial to choose the default weight from the menu chart.
    • Press "Start/+30Sec./Confirm" to start cooking.
    • Menu chart includes various weights for each food type.
  • Program Set in Advance (Multi-section cooking):

    • Set the clock first.
    • Up to two cooking stages can be set. If defrosting is included, it must be the first section.
    • Example: Defrost for 5 minutes (dEF2, select time) then cook with 80% microwave power for 7 minutes (Microwave, select P80, select time).
    • Press "Start/+30Sec./Confirm" to start. Buzzer sounds once for each section, and five times when cooking finishes.
  • Inquiring Function:

    • In microwave, grill, or combination cooking, press "Microwave" to display current power for 3 seconds.
    • In cooking state, press "Clock/Pre-set" to display remaining time for 3 seconds.
    • In preset state, press "Clock/Pre-set" to display preset time for 3 seconds.
  • Lock-out Function for Children:

    • Lock: In waiting state, press "Stop/Clear" for 3 seconds. A long beep indicates child lock is active. The current time or ":נ" will display.
    • Quitting Lock: In locked state, press "Stop/Clear" for 3 seconds. A long beep indicates the lock is released.

Maintenance Features:

  • Cleaning:
    • Unplug the appliance before cleaning.
    • Clean the oven cavity with a slightly damp cloth after use.
    • Clean accessories (glass tray, turntable ring assembly) in soapy water.
    • Clean the door frame, seal, and surrounding parts with a damp cloth.
    • Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners or sharp metal scrapers on the oven door glass to avoid scratching or shattering.
    • Cleaning Tip: For easier cleaning of cavity walls, place half a lemon in a bowl with 300ml (1/2 pint) water, heat on 100% microwave power for 10 minutes, then wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth.
  • General Maintenance:
    • Ensure the appliance is maintained in a good state of cleanliness to prevent degradation of surfaces and extend lifespan.
    • If the door or door seals are damaged, the oven must be repaired by a competent person before operation.
    • Refer to "Maintenance of Microwave" for cleaning dirty parts if the glass turntable makes noise.

Safety Precautions:

  • Do not operate with the door open or tamper with safety interlocks.
  • Do not place objects between the oven front face and the door, or allow soil/cleaner residue on sealing surfaces.
  • Liquids and other foods must not be heated in sealed containers.
  • Only use utensils suitable for microwave ovens.
  • Do not overcook food.
  • Do not use the oven cavity for storage.
  • Remove wire twist-ties and metal handles from paper/plastic containers before placing in the oven.
  • Eggs in the shell and whole hard-boiled eggs should not be heated in microwave ovens.
  • This appliance is intended for household use and similar applications (staff kitchens, hotels, farmhouses, B&Bs).
  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or a qualified service agent.
  • Do not store or use outdoors, near water, in a wet basement, or near a swimming pool.
  • Accessible surfaces may become hot during operation; keep cord away from heated surfaces and do not cover vents.
  • Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter.
  • Stir or shake contents of feeding bottles and baby food jars and check temperature before consumption.
  • Microwave heating of beverages can result in delayed eruptive boiling; handle containers with care.
  • Children aged 8 and above, and persons with reduced capabilities, can use the appliance with supervision and instruction. Children should not play with the appliance.
  • Cleaning and user maintenance should not be done by children unless supervised and over 8 years old.
  • Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children under 8 years.
  • Not intended to be operated by an external timer or separate remote-control system.
  • Steam cleaner is not to be used.
  • Avoid touching heating elements inside the oven during use.
  • Only use the temperature probe recommended for this oven (if applicable).
  • The microwave oven must be operated with the decorative door open (for ovens with a decorative door).
  • Surface of a storage cabinet can get hot.
  • Proper grounding is essential to reduce the risk of electric shock. Consult a qualified electrician if grounding instructions are not fully understood.
  • Do not disassemble the appliance.
  • Do not run the unit without food inside.
  • Dispose of the product at WEEE collecting points, not with household waste.
