How to troubleshoot no spark and no pilot gas on Landa Pressure Washer?
    • N
      Nancy MillerAug 12, 2025
If the flow and burner switch are on but there is no spark and no pilot gas in your Landa Pressure Washer, start by checking the main power supply. With the power switch on and the trigger gun open, set your test meter to the 24-volt scale and probe terminals TH and TR. If you don't read 24 volts, the issue isn't the ignition system; perform standard checks of main power, transformer, thermostat, and limit control. If you do read 24 volts at TH and TR, the problem lies within the ignition system. Inspect for loose or defective wiring. If the wiring is intact, consider replacing the ignition control unit.

What to do if my Landa Pressure Washer has spark but no pilot gas flow?
    • M
      Mark FreemanAug 21, 2025
If the Landa Pressure Washer has spark but no pilot gas flow, ensure the main gas supply is turned on. Check that the main gas valve is open. With the gas on and the system sparking, probe terminals PV and TR. If pilot gas does not flow with 24 volts at these terminals, the gas valve should be replaced. If you don't read 24 volts at terminals PV and MV/PV, replace the ignition control unit.

Why does my Landa VNG/VLP3-11021D Pressure Washer have pilot gas but no spark?
    • S
      Sarah RobertsSep 1, 2025
If your Landa Pressure Washer has pilot gas but no spark, check the ignitor/sensor and its wiring. Set your test meter to the ohm scale. Disconnect the wire from the IGN terminal on the ignition control unit. Touch one meter probe to the tip of the ignitor/sensor rod in the pilot and the other probe to the quick-connect at the other end of the ignitor/sensor wire. If you have continuity from the tip of the ignitor/sensor rod to the connector and still no spark, replace the ignition control unit. If there is no continuity through the wire and the ignitor/sensor, check for a loose wire connection in the wire and repair as needed. Also, check if the spark shorts to the furnace through a cut in the ignitor wire.
