Why is degassing functioning poorly on my Lauda Thermostat?
    • G
      Gary WilliamsSep 9, 2025
Degassing on your Lauda Thermostat might function poorly if pressure control is active, so switch it off. A pump level that is too high can also cause this, so select a lower pump level. Reduce the heating output, as it may be too high. If the cooling unit is active, switch it off. If the heat transfer liquid is heavily contaminated, change it. Ensure the filler nozzle is not closed by removing the tank lid and placing it loosely on the filler nozzle. If applicable, connect the inert gas blanket, with compressed air for pure degassing if necessary.

What does 'Pump blocked' mean on Lauda Thermostat display?
    • K
      Katelyn DavisSep 12, 2025
The 'Pump blocked' message on your Lauda Thermostat display indicates a pump motor monitoring issue, such as overload or blockage. The viscosity of the heat transfer liquid may be too high; consider changing to another heat transfer liquid or increasing the set temperature.

    • A
      Alicia BakerSep 14, 2025
The 'Evaporator frozen' message on your Lauda Thermostat display indicates that the evaporator is frozen. Increase the pump level. Open the manual bypass in the constant temperature equipment. Increase the flow rate through the application.

What does 'Low level (pump)' mean on Lauda Thermostat display?
    • C
      Christopher HaynesSep 16, 2025
The 'Low level (pump)' message on your Lauda Thermostat display indicates that the pump motor is idling. Check whether the float in the expansion vessel is blocked by a foreign object.
