It is suitable for lifting various small and medium-sized vehicles with a total weight of up to 3.5 or 4.0 tons, depending on the model. The lift is designed to meet international standards, ensuring broad market applicability and ease of use in garages and workshops.

Function Description

The primary function of the TLT235/TLT240 lift is to elevate vehicles to a comfortable working height, allowing technicians to perform maintenance and repair tasks underneath the vehicle. The lift operates using a hydraulic system, which provides stable lifting and lowering capabilities.

Key functional features include:

Top limit switch: This safety mechanism effectively protects the vehicle from overhead collision by stopping the lift at its maximum height.
Dual hydraulic cylinders: These cylinders drive the lift, ensuring stable lifting and smooth lowering operations.
Manual lowering: The lift can be manually lowered, providing a safe and simple operation, especially in cases of power failure.
Two steel cables: The lift incorporates two steel cables for equalization, which force the two carriages to move synchronously, effectively preventing the vehicle from tilting during lifting or lowering.
Low profile lifting pad: The lowest height of the lifting pad is 110mm, making it suitable for repairing low chassis or low profile cars.

Usage Features

The TLT235/TLT240 lift is designed for ease of operation and safety.

Vehicle Positioning: Before lifting, it is crucial to position the vehicle correctly on the lifting pads, ensuring the center of gravity is aligned with the lift's columns. This prevents instability and potential damage.
Lifting Operation: To lift, press the UP button on the electrical control box. The lift will raise the vehicle, and the safety locking plates will engage automatically at various heights.
Lowering Operation: To lower the vehicle, first raise the lift slightly to disengage the safety locks, then pull the steel ropes to release the safety lock mechanism, and finally press the lowering handle. The hydraulic oil flows back, and the lift lowers.
Safety Devices: The lift incorporates multiple safety features, including a top limit switch, anti-skid blocks, and a robust steel cable system for synchronization.
Power Unit: The power unit, typically located on one of the columns, houses the motor, oil pump, and control valves.

Maintenance Features

Regular maintenance is essential to ensure the longevity and safe operation of the TLT235/TLT240 lift.

Daily Maintenance:
- Keep the lift clean, especially before and after cleaning.
- Ensure the working environment is clean.
- Check for any abnormal situations, make adjustments, repair, or replacement immediately.
- Check the steel cable connection and tension.
- Check the connection between the hydraulic cylinder and carriage.
Every six months:
- Lubricate chain/cables and all movable parts.
- Check all hydraulic lines for wear.
- Check the carriage and the inner side of the lift columns for proper lubrication. Use high-quality heavy lubrication grease (lithium based lubrication grease GB7324-87).
- Check the lubrication of all pulleys.
- Check the verticality of the column.
- Check the adjustment and balancing tension to ensure horizontal lifting and lowering.
Maintenance of hydraulic system:
- Clean and change the hydraulic oil. Initially, clean the hydraulic oil tank and replace the oil after six months of use. Subsequently, replace the oil once a year.
- Replace the seal. If oil leakage is observed, check the sealing materials and replace any worn ones.
Monthly Maintenance: Retighten the anchor bolts.

Important Notes:

Always read the operating and safety manuals before using the lift.
Proper maintenance and inspection are necessary for safe operation.
Do not operate a damaged lift.
Only authorized personnel should operate the lift.
Ensure the area under the vehicle is unimpeded during lowering.
Keep feet away when lowering the lift.
Do not stand under carrying arms or other load-carrying devices while the lift is being operated with load.
Do not lift a single side of the vehicle.
