OPERATION GUIDANCE
Filling the Engine with Oil
This engine is shipped from factory without oil. Check oil level before starting
engine (Figure 7), if you start the engine without oil, the engine will be damaged
beyond repair and will not be covered under warranty.
Your mower does not come with oil in the engine. Max. fill: 18 ounces
SAE 10W-30 is recommended for general use.

Filling the Fuel Tank
Gasoline
is extremely flammable and explosive. A fire or explosion from gasoline
can burn you and others.
To prevent a static charge from igniting the gasoline, place the container
and/or mower directly on the ground before filling, not in a vehicle or on an
object.
