1) Pull the brake bar towards the handle and hold it in position when starting the engine.
Keep it squeezed during operation (Fig. 12).
2) Pull the brake bar towards the handle and pull on the recoil starter handle to start the
engine (Fig.13)
3) Fit the recoil starter into the rope guide on the right hand side of the upper handle during
operation (Fig. 14).
7.5 Self-propulsion(LE12141-46A3)
Use the self-propelled function as assistance during operation; the rear wheels are
automatically driven by the engine; you do not need to push the machine manually.
1)
Pull the drive bar towards the handle to engage the wheels (Fig. 13).
2)
Release the drive bar to disengage the wheels.

7.6 Stopping the mower
To minimise possible risk of accidents, the engine of your lawnmower is coupled to an operator
control. When the operator control lever is released, it returns immediately to its rest position
and the engine is automatically turned off.(Fig.14)

When the engine has been switched off, the blades continues running for several
seconds therefore do not touch the underside of the mower until the blade has come to a
standstill!
