CONTENTS
1. USE
This device is a power unit used for managing lighting loads.
The load(s) can be controlled locally either manually or by SCS
commands associated with it (them). They can also be controlled
automatically by digital detectors.
The use of SCS commands and digital detectors requires an SCS
power supply and an addressing module* to be wired on the
BUS.
* The addressing module is not necessary if the installation is
equipped with the software packs.

This document describes the Legrand Controller, specifically model 026 21, a 1 x 1000 W output device with dimming capabilities, designed for all load types. It is a power unit primarily used for managing lighting loads within a building automation system.

Function Description

The controller allows for versatile control of lighting loads. It can be operated locally, either manually via integrated buttons or through SCS (Simplified Control System) commands. Usage Features

Connection:

All wiring must be performed with the mains power off. The connection diagrams illustrate how to wire the controller to different phases (L1, L2, L3) and neutral (N) for various load types.

Parameter Setting:

The product can be configured in a system using several methods:

• Manual: Using the Push and Learn method.
• Virtual: Via software packs.

Operation:

By default, the product automatically recognizes the connected load as soon as the channel is activated. If automatic recognition fails, this function can be manually forced.

Display of Load Type and Status:

The device includes indicators for both load status and load type.

• Load Status Indicator: Displays the status of load 1.
  • Off: Load is OFF.
  • On: Load is ON (1% to 100%).
  • Flashing: Load short-circuit fault.
• Load Type Indicator: Indicates whether the load is Inductive or Capacitive.

Manual Forcing of Load Type:

This feature allows users to manually set the load type.

1. Press the RL/C button for less than 1 second to enter forcing mode.
2. Press ON/+ for less than 1 second to select "Capacitive" or "Forced capacitive."
3. Press OFF/- for less than 1 second to select "Inductive" or "Forced inductive."
4. To confirm the selection, press the RL/C button for 10 seconds.
5. To exit forcing mode without saving, press the RL/C button for less than 1 second.

Control Buttons:

The device features ON/+ and OFF/- buttons for load control:

  • Short press: Turns ON the load.
  • Long press: Dims up (Dim+).
• OFF/- command:
  • Short press: Turns OFF the load.
  • Long press: Dims down (Dim-).
