This document describes the Legrand Controller, specifically model 026 21, a 1 x 1000 W output device with dimming capabilities, designed for all load types. It is a power unit primarily used for managing lighting loads within a building automation system.
The controller allows for versatile control of lighting loads. It can be operated locally, either manually via integrated buttons or through SCS (Simplified Control System) commands. Additionally, it supports automatic control via digital detectors. For SCS commands and digital detectors to function, an SCS power supply and an addressing module are required to be wired on the BUS. However, the addressing module is not necessary if the installation utilizes software packs. The device features a configurator for setup, a LEARN indicator to show the teach phase or RESET status, and a LEARN button for configuration. It also includes an indicator to show if the output is activated.
The device measures 108 mm in width, 83 mm in height, and 66 mm in depth, with a mounting depth of 50 mm and a total depth of 45 mm from the front face.
The controller connects via an RJ 45 cord or cable, or a BUS/SCS cable, fitted with an RJ 45 connector. The maximum cord or BUS/SCS cable length between the power supply and the furthest product is 500 meters.
The controller is compatible with various Legrand peripherals, including:
All wiring must be performed with the mains power off. The connection diagrams illustrate how to wire the controller to different phases (L1, L2, L3) and neutral (N) for various load types.
The product can be configured in a system using several methods:
By default, the product automatically recognizes the connected load as soon as the channel is activated. If automatic recognition fails, this function can be manually forced.
The device includes indicators for both load status and load type.
This feature allows users to manually set the load type.
The device features ON/+ and OFF/- buttons for load control:
