    • P

If a specific Room Unit, Patio Unit, or Door Unit of your LEGRAND Intercom System isn't receiving power, start by checking the Cat 5e cable connections at both the unit and the Intercom Module, ensuring they follow the T568A wiring standard. If the wiring appears correct, test the connections for conductivity and re-terminate if needed. You can also test the unit by plugging it into a different port on the Intercom Module to see if it powers on.

      Jose RiosAug 20, 2025
To stop feedback or squealing from your LEGRAND Intercom System's Room Unit, Patio Unit, or Door Unit speaker, first check the unit's placement. Avoid placing units back-to-back on a shared wall. If this is unavoidable, ensure the speaker's audio from one unit isn't picked up by another unit's microphone. You can usually resolve feedback issues by lowering the unit's volume from high to medium.

To address hum or buzzing noises in your LEGRAND Selective Call Intercom System, ensure that you've followed the proper wiring guidelines. Confirm that Cat 5e cabling isn't running parallel to and within 12 inches of AC power cabling. Also, keep Cat 5e cabling away from fluorescent lighting fixtures, dimmer switches, and fan controls.
