3.12 HDS6000 and WLAN Connection
Area of use of
WLAN
The HDS6000 can be controlled with a WLAN interface as an alternative to the
Ethernet cable connection.
Settings on the
HDS6000
The ON/OFF button needs to be pressed for less then a second to turn on the
instrument. The entire "boot" process of the scanner (after pressing the button)
takes about 20 seconds.
Expand the main menu. Press for 5 sec after system start-up.
Select Settings in the main menu using .
Select yes in the WLAN submenu. Confirm with .
Restart the HDS6000.
Configuration of
the laptop
Start, System, Network Connections
Select and open "Wireless Network Connection"
In the "Wireless Network Connection" list the HDS is listed as "hds6000-xxx" with
xxx = serial number; if scanner is not listed select "Refresh network list", after
some seconds the system automatically will find the HDS6000.
Press the "Connect" button to connect the HDS6000.
