Threading the Wire
Wire coils should be neatly and evenly wound. Before fitting
coils, immerse them in oil to complete saturation. The wire box
takes 2 coils, 2 spare coils can be placed in the compartment
behind the packer box.
 Fit coils while still closed, turns running clockwise.
 Cut straps open.
 Pull inner wire ends out through holes in box. Avoid kinks
and loops, or faulty tying may result!
 Tie outer wire end to wire box
Thread wire as indicated in Figure 8:
Wire A:
Through wire guide tube 1, round guide roller 2, between track
rollers 3, over needle head 4 to wire hook 5. Carefully tie end of
wire A to hook 5.
Wire B:
Through wire guide tube 6, over guide roller 2, round guide
roller 7, between track rollers 8, over needle head 9 to wire
hook 10. Carefully tie end of wire B to hook 10.
Pulling the wire into the tying unit
 Trip tiers as shown in Figure 10.
 Turn flywheel in direction of arrow Figure 15 until needles
have moved up and down and the tiers have taken up the
wire.
 Pull wire ends from hooks 5 and 10 (Figure 8).
