7.4. Sharpening the cutter blades
In order to ensure an optimum throughput of crops, it is
recommended that the cutter blades be sharpened after 500
bales have been cut at the latest. Depending on the operating
conditions, sharpening may also be required sooner.
As described above, remove the blades and grind the cutting
edge from the smooth side. Pay attention that the hardened
cutting edges are not drawn when grinding.
A grinder is available as a spare part.

Warning: Never strike the installed blades with a hammer from
underneath the baler – The magnets can be damaged!
