YOUR SAFETY IS INVOLVED!
The safety alert symbol identifies important safety messages
on your LELY machine and in the operator ’s manual. When
you see this symbol, be alert to the possibility of personal
injury and/or a life threatening situation. Make sure to follow
all prevailing safety instructions.
SIGNAL WORDS:
The following signal words are used. Note the instructions
indicated by the DANGER and WARNING safety symbols.
In some cases the sign in this manual may be followed by the
word WARNING . This indicates potential risks which may
lead to personal injuries and/or a life threatening situation or
material damage. These instructions should therefore always
be observed.
• CAUTION. This sign is used throughout the manual. It
indicates a risk that may lead to less serious injuries or slight
damage to parts. Be sure to read these paragraphs carefully.
• NOTE. This indicates additional helpful information.
GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
You ar e responsible for the safe operation and maintenance
of the machine.
You must ensure that you and anyone else who is going to
operate or maintain the machine be familiar with operating
and maintenance procedures and related safety information
contained in this manual. The operator ’s manual will take
you step-by-step through your working day and alerts you to
all good safety practices.
Remember you are the key to safety. Good safety practices
not only protect you, but also the people around you. Be
certain that EVERYONE operating this machine is familiar
with the procedures recommended and follows safety
precautions. Keep in mind that most accidents can be
prevented. Do not risk injury or life threatening situations by
ignoring good safety practices.
