4.5 Position of mower beside tractor
The mower can be adjusted into three positions by fixating
the drawbar ram in one of the three holes.
The position depends on the location of the swath and the
machine “tracks”.
The position of the swath is determined by the use of a front
mower or position of the swath boards.
The machine tracks depend on the bottom pressure (cutter
bar) and the soil condition.
Hole A (fig. 12): centre distance mower – tractor maximum
Hole B (fig. 13): centre distance mower – tractor interme-
diate distance
Hole C (fig. 14): centre distance mower – tractor minimum
