This is a safety alert symbol and should never be
ignored. When you see this symbol on labels or in man-
uals, be alert to the potential for personal injury or death.
WARNING
Improper installation, adjustment, alteration, service
or maintenance can cause property damage, personal
injury or loss of life. Installation and service must be
performed by a licensed professional HVAC installer (or
equivalent), service agency or the gas supplier.
NOTICE
A thermostat is not included and must be ordered
separately.
A communicating thermostat must be used in
communicating applications.
In non-communicating applications, the Lennox
ComfortSense
®
7500 thermostat may be used, as well
as other non-communicating thermostats.
In all cases, setup is critical to ensure proper system
operation.
Field wiring for both communicating and non-
communicating applications is illustrated in diagrams,
which begin on Page 39.
CAUTION
As with any mechanical equipment, personal injury can
result from contact with sharp sheet metal edges. Be
careful when you handle this equipment.

What to do if Lennox Indoor Fireplace spark igniter will not light pilot?
    • A
      Anthony LynchSep 2, 2025
If the spark igniter on your Lennox Indoor Fireplace won't light the pilot, start by checking that the electrode wire at the piezo igniter is fully connected. If it is still not working, the piezo igniter may be defective and require replacement. Also, make sure to check for multiple gas shut-offs, gas supply lines, and correct inlet gas pressure as marked on the rating plate. Another possible cause is a plugged pilot orifice that will need to be cleaned or replaced.

Why Lennox Indoor Fireplace pilot will not stay lit?
    • S
      Steven GuzmanSep 1, 2025
If the pilot light won't stay lit on your Lennox Indoor Fireplace, it could be due to a few reasons. First, ensure the thermocouple is firmly connected to the control valve. Second, check that the pilot flame is correctly directed to the top of the thermocouple; ensure the thermocouple is fully inserted into the pilot assembly and adjust the pilot for maximum flame impingement if needed. Finally, the thermocouple itself might be defective and need replacement; it should produce a minimum of 14 MV with the pilot only.

How to troubleshoot Lennox Indoor Fireplace spark ignitor that won't light pilot?
    • L
      Laurie HawkinsAug 30, 2025
If the spark ignitor on your Lennox Indoor Fireplace will not light the pilot after repeated attempts, check for a spark at the electrode and pilot. If there is no spark and it is properly connected, replace the ignitor. You can also use a match to trigger the ignitor mixture cause recommended and pilot. Check the inlet gas pressure to ensure it is within the limits marked on the rating plate. Finally, clean or replace the pilot orifice if it is plugged.

How to fix Lennox Indoor Fireplace pilot that won't stay lit?
    • S
      samantha52Aug 29, 2025
If the pilot light on your Lennox Indoor Fireplace will not stay lit after following the lighting instructions, the pilot generator thermocouple may be defective. Check the pilot flame impingement on the thermocouple. Clean and/or adjust the pilot for maximum flame impingement on the thermocouple.

What to do if pilot burning, but no gas to burner in Lennox Indoor Fireplace?
    • T
      Tina SimmonsAug 27, 2025
If the pilot light is burning but no gas is going to the burner in your Lennox Indoor Fireplace, even with the valve knob and wall switch 'ON', check the wall switch and wires for proper connections. Also, the thermopile may not be generating sufficient millivoltage, so check the thermopile terminals with a millivolt meter. Finally, check the burner orifice for any blockage and remove it.

What to do if my Lennox Indoor Fireplace burners come 'ON' but go 'OFF'?
    • L
      Lisa WilliamsAug 26, 2025
If the burners on your Lennox Indoor Fireplace turn on but then turn off, check the main burner orifice(s) for any blockage. Clean or replace the orifice if necessary. Also, check the vent system for obstructions.

Why does my Lennox Indoor Fireplace pilot keep going out?
    • V
      Vernon GriffinAug 25, 2025
Frequent pilot/burner outages in your Lennox Indoor Fireplace may occur if the pilot valve flame is too low or too high, causing the pilot safety to drop out. Clean and/or adjust the pilot flame for maximum flame impingement on the thermocouple.

What to do if my Lennox Indoor Fireplace burner will not light?
    • M
      morrisalisonAug 23, 2025
If your Lennox Indoor Fireplace burner will not light, there may be a faulty valve system or a defective 'OFF/ON' wall switch. Disconnect the two black wires from the wire nuts and check for continuity with a multimeter.
