SomenotebookcomputersdonotsupporttheCertiedOutputProtectionProtocol(COPP),andyouwill
notbeabletoplaybacktheprotectedvideosontheexternalmonitorconnectedtothedock.TheCorel
WinDVD10programalsohaslimitationsonplayingbackvideosintheWindowsXPoperatingsystem.
Toplaybackvideosontheexternalmonitor,youcanconnecttheexternalmonitortotheVGAconnector
onyournotebookcomputer,andextendthedisplaytotheexternalmonitor.Formoreinformationabout

3.IcannotdraganapplicationwindowtotheothermonitorintheWindowsXPorWindowsVista
operatingsystem.
IntheWindowsXPorWindowsVistaoperatingsystem,youcannotdragamaximizedwindowunless
youreducethewindowtoasmallersize.
Todragawindowfromonemonitortotheother,dothefollowing:
a.Onthewindowthatyouwanttodrag,clicktheRestoreDownbuttonordouble-clickthetitlebarto
makethewindowexitfromitsmaximizedstatus.
b.Dragthetitlebarofthewindowtothemonitorthatyouwantthewindowtobedisplayed.
4.Theimagesontheexternalmonitorutter.
Tosolvetheproblem,checkthefollowing:
•EnsurethattheexternalmonitoriswellconnectedtotheDVI-Ivideooutputconnectorofthedock.
•Checkthedisplayresolutionsettingofthenotebookcomputerandensurethattheresolutionis
supportedbythedock.
•CheckthatyoudonotselectOptimizeforVideointheWindowsVistaorWindows7operating
system.Ifyouselectit,youmightseedoubleimageinfullscreenmodewhenyouright-clickthe
screentoopenthesettingmenus.
5.Theimagesontheexternalmonitorisnotincorrectcolors.
Tosolvetheproblem,dothefollowing:
a.EnsurethattheexternalmonitoriswellconnectedtotheDVI-Ivideooutputconnectorofthedock.
b.Checkthedisplayresolutionsettingofthecomputerandensurethattheresolutionissupportedby
thedock.
6.MycomputercanplaybackWebashes.However,whenIdragthewindowtotheexternal
monitorandmaximizetheplaybackwindow,theplaybackstops.
Tosolvetheproblem,updateyourAdobeFlashPlayertothelatestversion.
Audio
IcannothearanythingthroughyournotebookcomputerspeakersorIcannotusetheaudio
connectorsonthenotebookcomputer.
