6.UnderPowerManagement,selectthecheckboxforWakethecomputertorunthistask.
Enablingthebatteryalarm
Youcanprogramyourcomputersothatwhenthebatterypowerfallsbelowacertainlevel,threeevents
occur:thealarmgoesoff,amessageisdisplayed,andtheLCDisturnedoff.Toenablethebatteryalarm,do
asfollows:
1.StartPowerManager.
2.ClicktheGlobalPowerSettingstab.
3.ForLowbatteryalarmorCriticallylowbatteryalarm,setthepercentageofthepowerlevelandset
theaction.
Note:Ifyourcomputerenterssleep(standby)orhibernationmodewhenthebatteryislow,butthealarm
messagehasnotyetappeared,themessagewillappearwhenthecomputerresumes.Toresumenormal
operation,pressOK.
Handlingthebattery
DANGER
Donotattempttodisassembleormodifythebatterypack.
Attemptingtodosocancauseanexplosion,orliquidleakagefromthebatterypack.
AbatterypackotherthantheonespeciedbyLenovo,oradisassembledormodiedbattery
packisnotcoveredbythewarranty.
DANGER
Iftherechargeablebatterypackisincorrectlyreplaced,thereisdangerofanexplosion.Thebattery
packcontainsasmallamountofharmfulsubstances.Toavoidpossibleinjury:
ReplaceonlywithabatteryofthetyperecommendedbyLenovo.
Keepthebatterypackawayfromre.
Donotexposeittoexcessiveheat.
Donotexposeittowaterorrain.
Donotshort-circuitit.
Storeitinacooldryplace.
Keepitawayfromchildren.
