•ExitDiscardingChanges:Discardthechangesandrestartthecomputer.
•LoadSetupDefaults:Restoretothefactorydefaultsettings.
Note:EnableOSOptimizedDefaultstomeettheWindows8certicationrequirements.Whenyou
changethissetting,someothersettingsarechangedautomatically,suchasCSMSupport,UEFI/Legacy
Boot,SecureBoot,andSecureRollBackPrevention.
•DiscardChanges:Discardthechanges.
•SaveChanges:Savethechanges.
UpdatingyoursystemUEFIBIOS
TheUEFIBIOSistherstprogramthatthecomputerrunswhenthecomputeristurnedon.TheUEFIBIOS
initializesthehardwarecomponents,andloadstheoperatingsystemandotherprograms.
YoucanupdatetheUEFIBIOSbystartingyourcomputerfromaashupdateopticaldiscoraashupdate
programrunningintheWindowsenvironment.Whenyouinstallanewprogram,adevicedriver,orhardware,
youmightbeinformedtoupdatetheUEFIBIOS.
