•Beforeyouinstallanyofthefollowingdevices,touchametaltableoragroundedmetalobject.Thisaction
reducesanystaticelectricityfromyourbody.Thestaticelectricitycoulddamagethedevice.

Thefollowingactionscoulddamagethengerprintreaderorcauseitnottoworkproperly:
•Scratchingthesurfaceofthengerprintreaderwithahard,pointedobject.
•Scrapingthesurfaceofthengerprintreaderwithyourngernailoranythinghard.
•Usingortouchingthengerprintreaderwithadirtynger.
Ifyounoticeanyofthefollowingconditions,gentlycleanthesurfaceofthengerprintreaderwithadry,
soft,lint-freecloth:
•Thesurfaceofthengerprintreaderisdirtyorstained.
•Thesurfaceofthengerprintreaderiswet.
•Thengerprintreaderoftenfailstoenrollorauthenticateyourngerprint.

Occasionallycleanyourcomputerbydoingthefollowing:
1.Prepareamixtureofagentlekitchen-usedetergent.Thedetergentmustnotcontainabrasivepowderor
strongchemicalssuchasacidoralkaline.Usevepartswatertoonepartdetergent.
2.Absorbthediluteddetergentintoasponge.
3.Squeezeexcessliquidfromthesponge.
