Beforeinstallingamemorymodule,ensurethatyouobservethefollowingguidelines:
•Allmemorymodulestobeinstalledmustbethesametype(LVRDIMMorRDIMM).
•Whenyouinstallmemorymoduleswithdifferentranksinonechannel,startfromthefarthestmemoryslot
inthechannelandinstallthememorymodulethathasthemostranksfirst.
•Ifyouinstall1.35Vmemorymodulesand1.50Vmemorymodulesintothememoryslotsforthesame
microprocessor,youmustconfiguretheworkingvoltageintheBIOSsothatallthememorymodules
runat1.50V.
•Whenyouinstallmemorymoduleswithdifferentfrequenciesintothememoryslotsforthesame
microprocessor,allthememorymodulesrunatthelowestfrequency.
•Itisrecommendedthatyouinstallthelow-voltagememorymodulesintothememoryslotsforthesame
microprocessortoensurelowpowerconsumption.
•Itisrecommendedthatyouinstallthehigh-frequencymemorymodulesintothememoryslotsforthe
samemicroprocessortoensurehighperformance.
