Lenovo ThinkServer EasyStartup program problems
Symptom

The disc with the ThinkServer
EasyStartup ISO image does not start.
1. Ensure that:
• The server supports the ThinkServer EasyStartup program and has
a bootable optical drive.
• You have set the optical drive with the disc as the first startup
device.
2. Verify whether the optical drive or the disc has problems. See “Optical
drive problems” on page 101.
The USB flash drive with the ThinkServer
EasyStartup ISO image does not start.
1. Ensure that:
• The server supports the ThinkServer EasyStartup program.
• You have set the USB flash drive as the first startup device.
2. Verify whether the USB flash drive has problems. See “USB device
problems” on page 103.
The operating system installation
program continuously loops.
Make more space available on the storage drive.
The Lenovo ThinkServer EasyStartup
program cannot start the operating
system medium.
Ensure that the operating system medium is supported by the Lenovo
ThinkServer EasyStartup program version your are using. For a list of the
supported operating systems, refer to the user guide and compatibility
notes for the Lenovo ThinkServer EasyStartup program. See “Using the
ThinkServer EasyStartup program” on page 31.
