Danger!
Dangerous voltage!
When the mains voltage is switched off, the DC bus is still charged for at least
about 3 minutes.
ƒ The state of charge is not indicated!
ƒ On synchronous motors self-discharge only starts after a possible feedback
operation has been completed.
ƒ It is not possible to discharge the DC bus in a controlled manner via the
brake chopper/brake resistor if there is no 24 V supply ( digital input DI1).
Possible consequences:
ƒ Death or severe injuries when touching the terminals.
Protective measures:
ƒ Before starting work on the system check that it is deenergised.
ƒ Wait at least 3 minutes after switching off the mains voltage.
ƒ Only remove deenergised standard devices from the installation backplanes
and do not touch any terminals.
How to proceed:
ƒ Adjust the setting for the mains voltage/brake chopper threshold to the mains
ƒ Switch on the 24 V supply
ƒ Check the operating status by means of the LED display
