Only work on the drive system when it is de-energised.
▶
Wait for the surfaces to cool down.
▶
Put the drive system in a load-free state or secure any loads acng on the drive.
▶
Protect the motors against the ingress of foreign bodies.
Brake

The brakes are not accessible from the outside.
•
Maintenance work of the brake must only be carried out by Lenze Service personnel.

Funconal safety
Certain feedback systems support safety funcons according to the requirements of the
2006/42/EC: Machinery Direcve [UKCA: S.I. 2008/1597 - The Supply of Machinery (Safety)
Regulaons 2008] .
Any work on the safety encoder which has not been executed professionally will cause a loss
of the safety funcons.

The safety encoder may only be repaired or replaced by the Lenze service or its authorised
persons.
