Malfuncons
If faults occur during the operaon of the drive, the table below helps you to idenfy the
causes. If it is not possible to remedy the fault using the measures listed, please contact the
Lenze service department.

Shrink disc connecon is spinning Correct screw ghtening torque has not been reached

degreased

Surface roughness Rz ≤ 15 µm required
The shrink disc itself has been degreased so that the
screws and the bevels are dry. Due to incorrect fricon
factors, the shrink disc cannot be ghtened correctly.
Oil is leaking Wrong oil level for the applied mounng posion Check mounng posion (see nameplate) and oil level
Inially slight leakage at the sha seal Opmum sealing condions only arise aer the
running-in phase
Overpressure due to lacking venlaon Install venlaon according to the mounng posion
Overpressure due to polluted venlaon Clean venlaon
Worn-out sha sealing rings Check condion of sealing lip contact area, repair if
necessary.
Cover / ange screws are loose Check that the xing screws are ghtly fastened.
Connue to monitor the gearbox
Oil discharge at the gearbox
