What to do if LEO APm75 motor is running but no water comes out?

If the LEO Water Pump motor runs but no water is discharged, several issues could be the cause. First, check if the pump's rotation is incorrect and invert two-phase wirings of the motor (for three-phase motors). Ensure the pump is completely filled with water. Examine the suction pipe for any leaks, checking the sealing of all joints in the inlet pipelines. Verify that the water level isn't too low and adjust the pump's installation height if needed. Also, check for freezing in the pipeline or chamber and start the pump after the ice has melted. Finally, the impeller may be damaged, in that case it should be replaced.

Why won't my LEO APm75 Water Pump motor start?

      idurhamAug 23, 2025
If the LEO Water Pump motor won't start, there are several potential causes related to the power supply. For single-phase power supplies (three-phase electric motor), check the power switch connection, replace the fuse if it's burned out, and ensure the power lead is tightly connected. Also, inspect the cable for phase failure and repair or replace cables if needed. Other causes may include a burned-out capacitor (replace it with the same type), jammed rotating shaft and bearing (replace the bearing), a jammed impeller (turn the rotating shaft of the fan blade terminal with a screwdriver to let it rotate flexibly or demount the pump body to clear sundries), or a damaged stator winding (replace winding coils).

Summary

Safety Precautions

General Safety Guidelines

Read and understand safety precautions. User is responsible for accidents. Appliance use by children and persons with reduced capabilities requires supervision.

Electrical Safety

Damaged supply cord requires manufacturer repair. Avoid wet power plugs and connect sockets in damp-proof areas.

Model Description and Technical Data

Pipeline Installation

Electrical Connection

Wiring and Grounding

Do not wire with power on. Ensure reliable grounding and leakage protection. Verify working voltage matches supply.

Automatic Device (Pressure Switch)

Start-up and Maintenance

Initial Start-up Procedure

Fill pump chamber with water before starting. Check fan blade rotation flexibility. Adjust valve for required flow.

Troubleshooting

Motor Not Starting Issues

Diagnose causes like poor connection, blown fuse, loose leads, capacitor failure, or jammed parts.

No Water Discharge

Check for incorrect rotation, insufficient water filling, impeller damage, suction pipe leakage, low water level, or ice.
