4.2.8.1 Setting WAN connection: System Setup/Connection
/System Setup/WAN/Connected Type
Connection Type
There are five ways to connect to the Internet.
They are Dynamic IP, Static IP, PPPoE, PPTP and L2TP.
The cable modem ISP usually requests you to obtain the WAN IP
dynamically. Some ISPs request you to fill the host name. To do this,
please go to “System/System Settings” page to change the host name.
