As far as possible, rows with similar controls will always appear in
the same position in the matrix and, within each row, parameters
will generally appear in the same position. For example, the first
row (0) in every algorithm is "Controls". The Mix parameter, which
is available in all effects, is always located in position 0 in this row.
Similarly, the last three rows of every matrix are "Modulation,"
Patches" and "Custom". This makes it very easy to find your way
around the large number of available parameters, and to anticipate
where to find the controls you are looking for when you switch
between effects.

parameter and effect descriptions are given in Chapter 3.
