2-1. Driving procedures
Selecting a driving mode
The following modes can be selected in any shift position to
suit driving conditions:
Power mode
Use power mode for power-
ful acceleration and driving
in mountainous regions.
Normal mode
Snow mode
Use snow mode for accelerat-
ing and driving on slippery
road surfaces such as snow.
To cancel power mode or
snow mode, press the same
side of the switch again.
Eco drive mode
Use Eco drive mode for
improved fuel efficiency by
controlling the driving force
and operation of the air
conditioning system (heating/
cooling).
When Eco drive mode is
turned on, the multi-
information display will
change to the Eco Driving
Indicator Zone Display and
Average fuel consumption
screen. (P. 211)
To turn off Eco drive mode,
press the “ECO MODE”
switch again.
