After removing the air cleaner filter,
release the cap and inspect the dust
cup. (P. 535)
Remove the dust if the cup is dirty.
■ To prevent inhaling dust
Wear a respirator when using compressed air to clean the air cleaner filter.
■ To prevent damaging the engine
● Do not drive with the air cleaner filter removed. Doing so causes excessive engine
wear.
● Do not hit or drop the filter, as it may contain dust or sand etc.
