Why does after-image appear when my LG 55WFB-N Monitor is turned off?

The appearance of after-images when your LG Monitor is turned off is normal for LCD screens. To mitigate this, use the screen-saver function. Also, displaying a dark image after a high contrast image may cause image sticking.
