6. Messaging
6.1 Notification
1. Press Left Soft Key Menu, scroll to Settings, and
press .
2. Scroll to Messaging and press .
3. Scroll to Notification and press .
4. Select Msg & Icon or Icon Only and press
.
6.2 Callback Number
1. Press Left Soft Key Menu, scroll to Settings, and
press .
2. Scroll to Messaging and press .
3. Scroll to Callback Number and press .
4. Select None, My Phone Number, or Other and press .
(If you select Other, enter a number and press .)
6.3 Signature
1. Press Left Soft Key Menu, scroll to Settings, and
press .
2. Scroll to Messaging and press .
3. Scroll to Signature and press .
4. Select Custom and press . (If you do not wish to
attach a signature to your outgoing messages, select
None and press .)
5. Enter your signature and press .
6.4 Pre-Set Message
1. Press Left Soft Key Menu, scroll to Settings, and
press .
2. Scroll to Messaging and press .
3. Scroll to Pre-Set Message and press . (The list of
pre-set messages displays.)
4. To edit or delete a pre-set message, highlight message
and press .
5. Scroll to Edit and press , edit the selected message (see
“Entering Text” on page 19), and press .
Or scroll to Erase and press , then select Erase to delete
the selected message. (Select Cancel to cancel the
deletion .)
6.5 Edit Voicemail Number
1. Press Left Soft Key Menu, scroll to Settings, and
press .
2. Scroll to Messaging and press .
