Email
Set Up a Gmail™ Account
You can add a Gmail account at any time.
1. Tap
> > Settings > General tab >
Accounts & sync.
2. Tap ADD ACCOUNT > Google.
3. Follow the instructions to set up or sign in
to a Gmail account.
Note: Although you need a Gmail Account to
use certain features such as Google Play
™
,
you do not have to use Gmail as the default
account for your phone.
Set Up an Email Account
1. Tap > > Email .
2. Follow the instructions to sign in to your
email account.

Tap Manual setup to configure your
connection settings manually (POP3, IMAP,
or Exchange). Follow the on-screen prompts
and enter the information specific to
your carrier.

For Microsoft Exchange accounts, contact
your server administrator for required
sign-in information.
Note: If you‘re not sure about your account,
tap Next after entering your email address
and password. If your phone can’t
autoconfigure your account, you’ll then be
asked to configure it manually.
