Why is my LG GR-J34FTKHL not cold enough?
    • L
      Lindsey WilliamsSep 12, 2025
If your LG Refrigerator isn't cold enough, several factors could be the cause. First, ensure the fridge or freezer temperature isn't set too warm; set it to 'Medium'. Also, check if the refrigerator is in direct sunlight or near a heat source. Make sure you cool hot food before storing it, and avoid overfilling the refrigerator to allow proper air circulation. Finally, ensure the doors are completely closed and that there's enough space around the appliance for ventilation.

      jacksonmarcusAug 21, 2025
If your LG refrigerator's icemaker isn't producing ice or is producing only a small amount, consider these points. If the refrigerator was recently installed, it takes about 48 hours for ice production to begin. Ensure the water supply pipe is connected and the supply valve is fully open and that the water supply hose isn't bent, which could compromise water flow. If you've recently dispensed a large amount of ice, allow about 24 hours for more ice to be produced. Check that the icemaker switch or button on the control panel is set to ON. The freezer temperature should be at -18 °C for normal operation. Avoid frequent opening of the refrigerator door, and ensure the door is completely closed to maintain the freezer compartment's temperature.
