If food is freezing in the refrigerator compartment of your LG Refrigerator, it could be because food with high water content was placed near an air vent; rearrange these items away from the vents. Check if the refrigerator temperature control is set too cold and adjust it one increment at a time, waiting for the temperature to stabilize. Also, the refrigerator should not be operated in temperatures below 55 °F (13 °C).

If the refrigerator was recently installed, it may take up to 24 hours to reach the desired temperature. If it was recently relocated, let it stand upright for 24 hours before connecting it to power.
