Why is my LG Microwave Oven not heating properly?
    • G
      Gregory GoldenAug 2, 2025
If your LG Microwave Oven seems to be operating but little heat is produced, it could be due to several reasons. It could be caused by voltage lower than 90% of the power source voltage. In such case it is suggested that you contact your local electric power utility co. or a qualified electrician. It also could be due to a defective P.C.B assembly or a defective magnetron, in such case replace the defective part.

Why is my LG MS-304W sparking?
    • A
      Amanda KeithAug 6, 2025
If you notice sparks inside your LG Microwave Oven, stop immediately. This can be caused by using metallic ware or ceramic ware with metallic trimming. Do not use metallic ware for cooking except where noted in the cooking guide and avoid any type of cookware with metallic trimming.

What to do if my LG MS-304W Microwave Oven display works but it won't start?
    • C
      charlescameronAug 10, 2025
If your LG Microwave Oven display shows all figures set, but the oven doesn't start cooking when the START pad is touched, it could be due to a defective secondary switch or a defective P.C.B assembly. In such case replace the defective part.

Why is my LG MS-304W Microwave Oven completely dead?
    • T
      Tyler MccallAug 14, 2025
If your LG Microwave Oven isn't operating at all, and the display window shows no figures, and no input is accepted, it could be due to several reasons: a blown fuse, a defective magnetron thermostat, or a defective power supply cord. Replace the fuse, magnetron thermostat, or power supply cord, respectively.

Why is my LG MS-304W Microwave Oven running but not heating?
    • C
      Carol WhiteAug 19, 2025
If your LG Microwave Oven lamp and fan motor run, and the display operates properly, but there's no microwave oscillation, it could be due to a defective P.C.B assembly, a defective high voltage capacitor, a defective high voltage Diode, or a defective magnetron. Replace the corresponding defective part.

    Richard WatkinsAug 23, 2025
Why does my LG MS-304W only work on high power?
    • V
      Victor MartinezAug 23, 2025
If your LG Microwave Oven isn't cooking properly at the set power level (but operates properly on HIGH), it might be due to a defective P.C.B. assembly. Replace the P.C.B. assembly.
