Usage Features
The washing machine offers a user-friendly interface with several buttons and indicators:
- AUTO OFF (POWER) Button: Turns the power on or off. Automatically powers off about 10 seconds after a wash is finished.
- WATER TEMPERATURE Button (OPTION): Selects water temperature (COLD, WARM, HOT). Default is COLD.
- WATER LEVEL Button: Adjusts water level and indicates the appropriate detergent amount (XL, L, M, S). Automatically selected for FUZZY program.
- WASH OPTION Button (OPTION): Selects suitable wash options based on laundry type, soil extent, or washing habits.
- DELAY START (RESERVATION) Button: Sets a delayed finishing time from 3 to 48 hours. Can be canceled by turning the power off.
- WASHING CONDITION INDICATOR: Operates in FUZZY Program, with an LED flashing green, orange, and red to indicate sensing conditions. The algorithm optimizes washing time/strength based on detergent quantity, water temperature, and quality.
- TIME LEFT, DELAY START (RESERVATION), ALARM INDICATION: Displays remaining time, finishing time for delayed starts, and error messages (e.g., "dE" for open lid).
- START/PAUSE Button: Starts or pauses the washing process.
- PROCESS Button: Selects functions like SPEEDY SOAK, Wash, Rinse, and Spin.
- CHILD LOCK Function: Locks control buttons to prevent accidental changes. Activated by pressing PROCESS and PROGRAM buttons simultaneously. "CL" and remaining time are displayed alternately in child-lock mode.
- PROGRAM Button: Selects wash programs: FUZZY (NORMAL), DELICATE, ECONOMY, JEAN, WOOL, SILENT, FAVORITE, TUB CLEAN.
Washing Programs:
- FUZZY Wash (Normal Wash): Automatically selects conditions for normal loads.
- ECONOMY Wash: For lightly soiled clothes, under 2.0kg.
- JEAN Wash: For washing jeans of different sizes.
- WOOL Wash: For delicate fabrics like lingerie and woolens (water washable only).
- DELICATE Wash: For items requiring gentle wash action, like blouses and nylons.
Other Functions:
- SPEEDY SOAK Wash: For normal or thick/heavy, excessively dirty clothes. Can be used with FUZZY or JEAN programs. Involves a 2-minute water supply after wash start to supplement absorbed water.
- FAVORITE Wash: Stores preferred wash conditions for later recall.
- SILENT Wash: Washes quietly, especially useful at night. Longer wash time, lower spin rpm, and more moisture in laundry.
- TUB CLEAN: Cleans the inner and outer tubs to prevent scrud build-up and odors. Requires oxygenated bleach after 10 minutes of water supplement. No laundry should be placed in the tub during this program, which takes about 3 hours.
- DELAY START (RESERVATION) Wash: Sets a delayed start time for the wash cycle.
- OPTION Washing: Allows selection of specific wash, wash+rinse, rinse, rinse+spin, or spin only cycles.
- Mute Option: Toggles alarm signal sounds by pressing WATER LEVEL and PROCESS buttons simultaneously.
Maintenance Features
- Adjusting Level: The washer must be installed on a flat and firm surface, with adjustable legs to ensure it is horizontal (tilt less than 1°). Adjusting plates can be used for larger gaps.
- Connecting Water Supply Hose: Instructions provided for Normal Type and One Touch Type hoses, ensuring proper connection and checking for leaks. Blue hose for COLD water, orange for HOT water.
- Connecting Drain Hose: Instructions for pump and non-pump models, emphasizing proper routing to prevent kinking or blockage. Discharge height should be 0.9~1.2m from the floor for pump models.

- Sorting: Sort clothes by soil level, color, and lint production.

- Pretreatment: Use pre-wash products or liquid detergent for stains and heavy soil.
- Loading: Load clothes loosely, no higher than the top row of holes. Use nylon nets for light or long/delicate items.
- Detergent Usage: Follow package directions. Use more for hard water, large loads, greasy soils, or lower water temperature. Check foam level during wash for correct amount. Pre-dissolve powdered detergent in warm water for better results.
- Liquid Bleach: Dilute liquid chlorine bleach and pour into the bleach dispenser before starting. Do not mix with ammonia or acids.
- Fabric Softener: Dilute with water and add to the dispenser. Do not overfill or pour directly onto clothes.
- Scrud (Waxy Build-up) Prevention: Use fabric softener sparingly, clean dispenser regularly, and perform regular warm/hot washes.
- Stain Removal Guide: Comprehensive chart for treating various stains (e.g., adhesive tape, blood, chocolate, grease, ink, mildew).
- Lint Filter: Clean regularly to prevent linting.
- Wash Inner-tub: Leave lid open to evaporate moisture. Clean with a soft cloth dampened with liquid detergent.
- Inlet Hoses: Replace every 5 years.
- Exterior: Wipe spills with a damp cloth.
- Long Vacations: Shut off water supply and drain hoses.
- Cleaning the Inside of your Washer: Periodically fill with hot water, add powdered detergent with phosphate, run for several minutes, soak overnight, drain, and run a normal cycle.
- Freezing Prevention: Close water taps, remove water supply hose, and drain water from the bowl and drain hose by spinning. If frozen, immerse water supply hose in hot water, pour hot water into the tub, and let stand before checking operation.
Troubleshooting:
The manual includes detailed troubleshooting guides for common problems and error messages:
- Error Messages: "1E" (Water Supply & Inlet V/V), "0E" (Drainage), "UE" (Unbalance), "FE" (Over Flooding), "dE" (Door Open), "PE" (Pressure Sensor), "AE" (Auto Off).
