  The washing machine may be draining slowly or not at all because the drain hose is installed too high, is pinched or clogged, is frozen, or is blocked by foreign objects. To resolve this, lower the drain hose to within 3 feet below the end of the elbow bracket, ensure the drain hose lies on a smooth surface to prevent bending, thaw frozen drain hoses with warm water, and remove any dirt or obstructions by opening the drain pump plug cap.

  If the tub of your LG Washer isn't rotating, it could be due to an overloaded machine. Try rearranging the load and restarting the washer. If the load is too large, the motor might overheat. Let the machine stand for a while before restarting. If the same error message appears, unplug the power cord and contact your nearest LG service center.

Items like stuffed animals or mats can cause imbalance during spinning, preventing proper draining. Rearrange knitwear to balance the load and try draining again. When washing blankets, put one in at a time.

  If your LG Washer displays a message to clean the tub, empty the tub, add bleach to the detergent dispenser, and select the TUB CLEAN cycle. Alternatively, you can skip the TUB CLEAN cycle by selecting another cycle, but the message will reappear until the tub is cleaned.
