Drain Motor
(For Non-Pump Model only)
1. Check resistance of the drain
motor if it can not pull the PV link.
Resistance is
normal.
Drain motor coil is
open.
Contact defect in
connection parts
or defect of the
controller.
Change the drain motor
Check the washer
works normally after
reassembling.
(PV link & drain motor
lever should be
assembled accurately.)
Change the controller if
there is no defects in the
connection parts.

Drain Motor

1. Check whether the drain motor is
normally returned after turning
power off.
(It is considered normal if the lever
of the drain motor is fully pulled out
by the PV spring)
PV Case
1. If water drains though the drain
motor is normally returned, check
whether PV asm is blocked by
foreign objects or the bellows in
the PV asm is deformed.
Controller
1. Check whether the drain motor or
the drain pump works immediately
after power is turned on.
Blocked.

Drain Hose
1. Check whether the drain hose is
installed properly so that the
discharge hight is about
0.9~1.2m from the floor.
The discharge
height is lower
than
recommendation.
Wrong installation
of the drain hose.
Put the outlet of drain
hose between 0.9m and
1.2m
Change the drain motor.
Remove the objects in
the PV asm.
Change the PV bellows.
(The bellows may swell
up if it contact petroleum
or petrochemical
substance because it is
made of rubber)
Change the controller.
