  There are several reasons why your LG washer might not be operating. First, ensure the control panel hasn't powered off due to inactivity by pressing the POWER button. Check that the washer is securely plugged into a working outlet and that the water supply is turned on fully. Make sure the cycle was set correctly, the door is closed properly, and the START/PAUSE button was pressed. Also, check the house circuit breakers/fuses. If the washing machine has been exposed to temperatures below freezing for an extended period of time, allow it to warm up before pressing the POWER button. In some cycles, the drum may stop temporarily while water is safely heated.
